How do I get Impressions done?

There are a few different options :

Outlets around Ireland: We visit shops in many towns across Ireland .These shops collect customer names and phone numbers for our visit.  Leave them your number and we will call you to arrange a time that suits you for the next visit.Please see ‘where are we’ page for nearest to you.

Belfast Area Home Visits: In the greater Belfast area (10 miles radius) we make housecalls at a time that suits you. These are generally from Monday-Friday up to 7pm and only take 10 minutes.Simply call us to arrange a visit on 075-94349943. We can also impress a few in one housecall if you want to have your friends over! A small extra charge applies depending on distance travelled.

Organise your own visit: Alternatively we can visit your home if you want to gather a number of friends together. In Southern Ireland we ask that this be a minimum of 10 people as the distance is greater. Just call or email us to arrange.We can be there for parties or special occasions.

Crèches and Schools etc: can be visited by arrangement, so if you have a suggestion just give us a call and we will be glad to discuss it with you. A percentage of the monies will go back to the crèche or school visited as a fundraiser. 1st impressions have full Access NI clearance and are public liability insured

Vouchers: We sell vouchers for all our products on this website. .

Sean says : “Impressing each hand or foot into soft clay takes about 5 seconds. You take care of your child and we take care of the impressions. It’s really very simple and most customers are dealt with in total in less than 10 minutes. These photos visually explain how it works and we will talk you through the simple process.    A receipt is then given and pieces returned on an agreed date.”

Payment: In all cases we ask that payment is made on initial visit to take impressions. We apologise for any difficulties this may cause but we’ve tried it the other way and it doesn’t work! However we do accept cash and cheques . In all cases we give you a receipt and can recast your handprints from original impression taken, free of charge, should there be an issue.


Repairs: Our impressions are strong and will last a lifetime. However over the years customers have had mishaps and breakages. If this has happened to you don’t despair. 1st Impressions are the only  company in Ireland who can replace the original even years later. We can make you a brand new piece from the broken one (providing you have the pieces). Just contact us by phone or email and we will gladly help you.
